The U₂O Marketplace was developed by Commport Communications International, inc. exclusively for the Retail Council of Canada and its members.

The goal is to make it easier for Retailers to connect with Vendors. We recognize the importance of these relationships and so seek to simplify the process.

As well, with the advent of new technologies, such as Global Data Synchronization, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), electronic cataloguing and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) we hope to improve supply chain processes. Making it easier for all retailers to utilize these technologies, saving money, and time, and thereby give the same technological advantages as experienced by the largest Retailers in Canada.

This Marketplace is our attempt to bring these technologies to Retailers of all sizes, in all market verticals and in all parts of the Country. By using the Marketplace, Retailers gain access to the Global Data Synchronization Network, EDI capabilities, and electronic cataloguing in an easy to use, straightforward way without demanding expensive back-end changes or high level of technical skills.
